Your stay at Chalet Philomena is coming soon and I will have the pleasure of welcoming you personally from 4 p.m.
Please advise of your approximate time of arrival: +336 07 68 18 71
Our meeting point is the municipal car park at the entrance to the hamlet of Plan de La Giettaz, just after the small chapel on the left when arriving. I will drive you to the chalet which is located 1.5 km from this car park (5 mn).

Advice on traffic and access
Reminder of mountain zone regulations: In winter, your vehicles must be fitted with snow tires (and snow chains in the boot of your car).
From the Plan de La Giettaz car park, your vehicles must be equipped with snow chains to be able to drive to the chalet car park because the road leading to the chalet is not tarmacked on the final section and covered with snow (at least snow tires if your vehicle is a 4WD one).
Once at the chalet, non 4x4 vehicles will park at the bottom of the property (close to the wooden board).
GPS: be careful if you arrive from Combloux, Megève, Praz sur Arly, Sallanches, Chamonix... (the Arve valley), it is imperative to pass through the village of Flumet to reach the station of La Giettaz. Some GPS, including Google Maps, can suggest a route that is totally impracticable on hiking trails and ski slopes!!

A little advice to enhance your comfort: all the floors are made of wood, remember to bring your slippers in your luggage!
